May 11, 2011_Hot pot, lagi...

Tiba-tiba keinget, wah, ajak Guo Jia Jing ah, ajak dia bantuin bikin bendera. Pasti dia seneng!

Hehe, akhirnya dia dateng dan bantuin nempel2 bendera kecil. Ga banyak sih, cuma 100 bijian. Cuma seneng aja sharing.

Hihihi!!

Setelah ngobrol2, kita makan siang bareng. Rencana mau masak bareng di lab berganti jadi makan di Dai Mei Huoguo, di bu xing jie 傣妹火锅 在 步行街上。
 Kai shi!!

Nah, kita berhasil menghabiskan 43 piring! Plus saos, cuka, bawang2an....

Bisa jual mangkok nih... Sampe diliatin meja sebelah, kuat amat ni cewe2... Haha!

Masih bawa pulang mie 3 biji lagi....

Wan an!

May 10, 2011_attendance system

Surprise! In order to make sure every student comes to lab every day, our professor bought this fingerprint attendance machine. Working time: 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM.

I don't really like this idea...
1. If I have any experiment to do, I'll surely be in the laboratory
2. Laboratory is not a fun place to hang-out
3. I prefer to study alone, in my own room
4. Most of them who stay all day in laboratory also do NO experiment, they bring their laptop and do whatever they like, from online games, chatting, watching movies-TV drama-sports, until shopping
5. U can always cheat~~~

Huh, wondering if this is really necessary?

Wo yiding hui hao hao zuo shiyan lo!

I guess different people will have different point of view. I don't really understand why my teacher see us, the students, a bit lazy -- 'til he needs to make an attendance system, but I respect him. I know for sure that the only thing he wants is to make sure we study more during this time, for our own sake.
If u ask me, huh, I'll be very glad to finish and graduate soon. I come here certainly for study, not for fun. I'll certainly do my research well!

Wondering if I go there every morning?
I've told my teacher that in the present time, as long as I don't have any thing to be done there, I'll not go :) ~~hope he remember that we had talk.. :p
and I'll not cheat also (sign and then go back home).
I will study, read journals, prepare my experiment in my room.

May 7, 2011_What language should I learn?

3 A.M., I couldn't sleep because I had coffee at  9 PM.As I was about to go to bed, this quiz made me laugh out loud!I just took the "What is your inner color?" quiz. I'm not a quiz-person. But it's fun! I browsed what other quizzes they have.

And I found this quiz: What language should you learn? http://www.blogthings.com/whatlanguageshouldyoulearnquiz/

And the result is.............

You Should Learn Chinese
Surprised?
You shouldn't be -
Chinese is perfect for an ambitious person like you.
You're a natural entrepreneur,
and a billion people are waiting to do business with you!

Speechless....

太cool了!I do love Chinese!

May 7, 2011_Your Inner Color

Your Inner Color is Orange

Your Personality: A total daredevil, you'll try any thrill. You're easily bored and you prefer to be on the go.

You in Love: You see love as an adventure, and you find most men dull. You need someone who challenges you!

Your Career: Your ideal job is flexible, fun, and maybe a little dangerous. You have the makings of a private investigator or extreme athlete.

Knew each other since late 2004, simply because we chose to learn a little more about Food Technology... we can simply say we do every thing together since that time. Go to class, do research, eat, hang out, go to church. Well, we can't say every thing always goes well. We fight some times :p But most of the times we speak it out. As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

We learn how to understand each other, how to help each other. We have our own background, family background, environment, thus there are some differences between us. But we all learn to help each other, if someone makes mistakes, women bu yao ke qi, "He who rebukes a man will in the end gain more favor; than he who has a flattering tongue."

When we were about to graduate, I think every body felt a little sad. Because we know that we will all leave, we will be separated. At the present time, we all have our own job. Quite busy, at different places, we can't meet as often as before.
Thanks for the technology, it helps us to keep our relationship, from the simple email, yahoo messenger, facebook, google talk, skype, until blackberry. If someone has some trouble we usually send email to our group, then the rest will response. Once a year, we try to meet at some place, 团圆~~
Yesterday, we had a conference chat, 7 of us. It was fun! 这样真的让我感到 "our friendship will never die". No matter where you are, no matter what u do, what your status is we will always be friend. A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

姐妹,jia you! We have to finish the race well!

May 3, 2011_Málàtāng_Chinese hot pot

(Málàtāng) is originated from Sichuan province. It's simply a hot pot, you put the meat and vegetables in a pot of bubbling hot red broth. When Chinese people eat malatang, they usually sit together around a table that has a hot pot installed on it. But in this shop, the laoban helps us to cook. Hmmm......I love malatang!

First, take a basket and put what you want in it. Meatballs, crab stick, egg, beef, mutton, corn, 各种各样 of doufu, green vegetables, cauliflower, cabbage, potato, lotus root, mushroom, you tiao,... Name it, they have everything there!

Rice noodles, instant noodle, vermicelli, doufu, bean sprout, pig's blood.... It usually costs 5 jiao for a portion of vegetables and 1-2 kuai for the meat.

And then, ask the laoban to cook it for you. He can serve 5 people at the same time.

And it's done! U can add soya sauce, chilli, pepper by yourself. Bon appetite!
